The secret with bread flies is to match the hatch Bake !

To have success you need to have a bread fly that imitates the varying colour of wet bread/crust and is not perfectly round. Not only does the fly need to look realistic but the hook must also hang down straight. Experienced breado's will tell you that those fish will eat every lump of bread on the water and leave your stark white, perfectly round fly just siting alone - bugger !

We have our Deer Hair Bread flies in 2 hook sizes - #6 & #1

The #6's are ideal for Mullet, Carp, Garfish, Bream etc ,while our #1's are great for larger species like Trevally, Drummer etc.    

Here's a BIG TIP !
If you set up with a large #1 fly with a #6 split-shot dropper (or 2) below that fly you'll be miles ahead in successful bread fly fishing - enjoy !
