South Pacifich SPX fly rod series in new generation IM-10 46T graphite eliminating extra weight while creating a smooth progressive action rod that provides ability for long smooth casting and the ultimate presentation in every fishing situation. Apart from the SPX's good looks, each rod is outfitted with the best in saltwater componentry from PAC BAY® International USA. The SPX range will have even the most discerning angler content with features such as non-glare matt blanks, smoke finish snake guides and oversize tip, TiCH #20 stripping guide, black anodised aluminium up-lock reel seats, Cork/PVA fighting butts and comfortable AAA-grade cork full wells handles. Each rod comes presented in a zip-top 600D covered rod tube with carry handle. South Pacifich Superior reels are exceptional high quality modern large arbor reels that will stand the toughest work load. Built from precision machined 100% aerospace bar stock aluminum and stainless steel componentry for maximum strength and ultimate corrosion protection, no plastic parts or bushings, just the very best up-to-date construction. An attractive light gun metal anodised aluminium finish with laser etched logo. The reel features extensive porting, providing a lightweight advantage. The spool is ported on both sides allowing efficient line drainage and airing. The large arbor spool features an exposed palming rim giving additional control. Spool change via the easy to access knurled knob in the centre of the spool is a matter of a quick spin. Extra spools are available.

The extra smooth large diameter Cork/FXB polymer disc drag delivers a very efficient low start-up system that will handle the toughest battle. A single clutch roller bearing and two precision sealed stainless steel bearings offer ultra-smooth silent retrieve with a welcomed low tone out-going click. All gearing is fully concealed. The knurled drag knob centrally placed on the back of the reel allows for fast and secure adjustment when fighting fish. Counter balanced spool, easily convertible from right to left hand wind with attractive maple timber handle. Spare spools are available.
